Jennifer is a voracious reader, obsessive writer, passionate yoga instructor and drinker of hoppy ales. She's also a devoted mama and wife (a stay-at-home yogi). She considers herself to be one of the funniest people that ever lived. In addition to her work on elephant journal and The Huffington Post, Jennifer has over 40 articles published on the wellness website MindBodyGreen and her column Your Personal Yogi ran in the newspaper Toledo Free Press. She holds a Bachelor's degree in geology, absolutely no degrees in anything related to literature, and she currently owns a wheel of cheese.     I have had a rough week with my three babies (home alone stuck on our snowy mountain top, husband working too much missing all of the special and crazy moments) and I had almost completely healed my broken foot (smashed into crib at 3am:( and I smashed into the baby’s swing the exact same way with the healing foot last night on my all nighter up with my 7 month old and it’s black and swollen and definitely re broken 🙁

    I’m so frustrated that I can’t practice the way I need to feel good and I was just getting back into everything that fills me up. Your writing has snapped me out of my funk and opened my eyes to the real beauty that is all around me, the magic of these days that will be a memory soon. I won’t remeber how badly my foot hurts but I will always remember my daughter saying “see you later!” As she walked away from me into another room today:) thank you thank you thank you! Xoxo
