I’m ever so glad you are ‘there’ already. I smile with contentment when I hear how the younger generation is (usually) naturally there or rather ‘here’. You see, us worn out folk (45+), are so conditioned in the old system of either reminiscing what was (my version of nostalgia), or roaming in the uncertain future, that staying present is real hard work! Sweet, grounded Jennifer your wise words have not been wasted on me though. I internalise good guidance and re-programme myself until (fingers crossed), I get there. My gratitude many times over.

For me, it helps me to stay present actually. I feel grounded in the need to enjoy each and every present moment.

Beautifully put. The trouble is darling Jennifer, nostalgia scares me!? Because it is a longing and that for me and some other weak-hearted souls equates “what was” and “out of reach”.

It makes me feel nostalgic. Wistfully nostalgic.
